Okay, so no one told me I needed a visa to go to Australia. 😣 Responses from friends when I told them ranged from ‘you’re only going for a couple of weeks’ to ‘you’re not going to work there’ to ‘I thought you only needed one if you’re going for longer than a month’ to ‘didn’t you know!’. Erm obviously not otherwise I wouldn’t be leaving it till 9 days before I go to get one.

For the grace of God my old grey matter isn’t totally defunct yet and a sudden ‘visa’ moment popped into my head.

Also for the grace of God we are now in the 21st century (or is it 22nd century lol) and no longer have carrier pigeon or stage coach or even 1st or 2nd post to rely on. Some smart guy invented the Internet way back when and now you can email your visa application. Simple. And in less than an hour I have my visa. Ta dah. 😆

So Australia here I come; Yippee😆
