Today I’ve woken up in Sydney which is 3 hours ahead of Perth so I was awake quite early . I’m now 11 hours ahead of UK. 9.20 am Monday 1st February. My aunt told me I may be woken up by the kookaburras in the morning. Beats the thrushes and blackbirds me thinks. I think I’m off for a visit to Bondi beach today. Back later x
Well yesterday I could have got a job at Qantas after having watched Lorraine check me in at the airport. We printed my own luggage tag and weighed it and put it on the scales and then the conveyor belt and off to the plane! And today I became a train spotter! Not only are the trains in Sydney double decker (like buses) they have fancy smansy seats that can be facing one direction the one minute and the total opposite the next!

The back of the seat on the right can be pushed along the length of the handle so the seat is now facing the other one. How good is that!
I had cake at Bondi beach (don’t ask! )
Swam in the Pacific ocean (photo not for public viewing. I wasn’t exactly Ursula Andress. Ha ha).
I then went to Harbour Bridge to see if I wanted to change my mind about climbing it later on in the week! And then on to the Opera House. How lovely. What a busy busy day.
Meet my Auntie Alison and Ray

The pictures are fabulous and you can see the family resemblance. Glad you are having a lovely time xxx

I think because you told me it was smaller than you expected then it then seemed bigger to me, if that makes sense. It wasn’t the best of days when we went there so we didn’t stay too long. I still swam in the Pacific ocean before I left. Ha. Off to Manly beach today x
