So this is my chosen beach today.  Freshwater beach. How can one place have so many beaches! Tomorrow it may be Shelley beach.

On Friday I’m off to Summer Bay where Home and Away is filmed. I’ve also bitten the bullet and booked the harbour bridge climb for Sunday argggh.  Next week I go in search of the Duck Billed Platypus. I feel like David Attenborough! Ha ha

And here we have Jonathan Livingstone seagull waiting to see if I’m going to leave any of my lunch – not a chance!

So what have I learned so far from my trip to Australia. ..

1.  White kangaroos are vicious!
2.  Koalas sleep for 2 hours and wake for 20 minutes then go back to sleep!
3. Spanish mackerel is not as we British know it!
4. Squid is just as I thought it would be -horrible!
5. W.A. is an abbreviation for Wait Awhile. Because everything they do takes a while apparently!
6. If you like collecting shells on the beach Australia is not the place to come.  I can’t find one shell!
