Last night the boat moved and so the view has changed from the people lift at the port of the Three Gorges River…

I slept really well. Not sure if that was the sway of the boat or the wine 😂

So I got up early (again) to do tai chi 😁

Went on a smaller boat trip down a tributary of the Yangtze river called the shennong stream

This in Chinese.

And this will interest you, maybe. Some locals have ‘buried’ their loved ones in the rocks. Apparently they believe they are one step closer to heaven.

And these were occupied however were removed I think due to the water levels. Although I do find it hard to believe that the water would get that high! As for how they get there who knows. They probably appear in the dead (get what i did there) of night. The guide seems to think that they are lowered there but how on earth did they all get up the mountain side…. it’s hardly Mission Impossible material🤔

The western toilet was called the ‘happy’ toilet and the not western toilet was the ‘unhappy’ toilet. Westerner women practised their pelvic floor exercises until we found the happy toilet 🤣🤣
