Just some observation photos from my last night in Santiago. When the lights are on green a strip on the floor lights up on the floor and ditto when the lights turn red👍

So Puerto Montt wasn’t too exciting. It was drizzly and cold after Santiago. We’re much further down in Chile in readiness for our trek across the Andes tomorrow

On the way… some colourful houses and boarded up buildings..

I wonder if this is the equivalent to our travellers🤔

I walked into my room and saw this..

And thought I’d got a sofa bed until I opened another door

There’s a very German feel to the place and the buildings

Our hotel is the brown and cream building..

It would have been much nicer with a bit of sun today

All the boarding up makes sense now. This was pushed under my door tonight..

Fortunately we will be well on our way to Argentina by then on 3 boats and 4 coaches. Should arrive by 9pm tomorrow evening. You will not hear from me till Sunday!
