So I’m not going to even lie. I haven’t travelled abroad for nearly 3 years and I haven’t been very excited about this holiday until now. Sicily 2020/2021 may now be 2023 who knows! South Africa will be 2023 hopefully.

Transylvania has been on a wish list for a little while and mainly because of all those Dracula films I used to watch back in the day when you only had 3 channels to watch and it was a Friday night must.

It’s only on day 13 that I eventually get there after travelling to or through Northern France, Parma, Bolagna, Mostar, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko, Arbanass, Bucharest, Sinaia, BRAN Castle (AKA dracula’s castle) then off to Brasov, Sighisoara, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Belgium and home! Phew
