So today we’ll see the black church and the narrowest Street at four foot wide and other things I’m sure. Then we have free time. This area is the habitat of the brown bear, linx and boar. It’s a ski resort too, apparently. We can go up the tampa mountain. It’s an hour to walk or we can go by cable carπ±. Back later with photos!

The black church

The old town. Very colourful

Irish coffee. It was a little cold on the tour. The sun has started to come out now

We then went on a bear hunt! behind the Brasov (pronounced by the guide as Bras of) sign! On this!

Rope Street which is four foot wide. Made between terraced streets so that firemen could get quickly between houses if there’s a fire! Wouldn’t we call this an alleyway! ππ€£

Lunch!

So after lunch the sun came out and it ended up a very pleasant day. We went around the town walls and ended up the white tower, plus steep steps and then the black tower and then took in the atmosphere in the old square and orchestra βΊοΈ

Sooo to finish the day…. I’ve been a bit quiet with the NO CHEESE and cheese shenanigans mainly because we’ve had buffet until last night and tonight. So! Last night the NO CHEESE members of the group were served first and they had the same meat as the rest except they had rice and we had mashed potato. The sumption was that our mash was made with cheese! Logical huh. So tonight’s main meal was fine for all concerned. Our dessert was served and again the no cheese members of the group had theirs first which was the same as ours minus ice cream!π€·π»ββοΈ. When Tracey (no cheese) asked where their ice cream was they were told it contained milk so they didn’t have anyπ€¦π»ββοΈ. So going back to the mash potato last night I assume it wasn’t made with cheese in it but milk and they thought that as cheese is made with milk that they couldn’t have milk! π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ
Off to Sighisoara tomorrow birth place of Vlad the Impaler apparently π€·π»ββοΈ
