So today is taken up with travel mainly. We go one hour ahead in Hungary so will then only be one hour ahead of the UK. This was a nice hotel but a little too far out from the city centre so couldn’t explore which was a shame.

This one is for you Mandy! I woke in the middle of the night and then noticed a faint glow in the room and it was this!!!!

It was around the side from the bed however you knew it was lighting the room a little bit. So at breakfast we exchanged the usual stories on how we’d all slept last night. I said that my friend Mandy would have got up on a chair and hung a towel over the exit sign if she’d have been staying here🤣🤣😊 Mandy has to have the room pitch black if at all possible😊

So going back to the man that fell out of his seat…

This is the man and he fell asleep and fell out of his seat and down those stairs. I saw him falling but there was nothing anyone could do. My friend Monica would have laughed her head off. She laughed at everyone’s misfortune! Anyway he was relatively unharmed, more shocked. Since then he’s buckled up and I showed him how to put his arm rest up!

So yesterday he fell asleep (which wasn’t unusual) so the only thing that fell, with a clunk, was his camera and cap, down the same set of steps🤦🏻‍♀️. Liz came hurtling down the coach, just as he’d managed to retrieve said items, to see if he was okay. In true Liz style she said “are you okay? Have you got your glasses” erm🤔 “oh yes you have, you’re wearing them”🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

We’ve just travelled through a village that seems to have an abundance of buildings like these. Silver roof and turrets and what looks like aluminium shutters🤔

I think I’m going to like Budapest. Before dinner we had a quick dash up to another citadel

So tonight, with the exception of the dessert which was a cherry tart, I’ve had the best meal so far. Without fail, so far this tour, the starter has been feta cheese salad, unless you are a no cheese traveller, of course however tonight and also a first, we had a traditional dish and had goulash soup. It was amazing, followed by chicken with sweet chilli which was also so nice.

City tour of Budapest tomorrow. Hope it will be great however the forecast is rain so it may turn out to be like the tour of Belgrade. I hope not 🤞
