So today we went to Siracuse not with a ‘y’ and Ortigia which I think is an island off Siracuse which used to be Siracuse but isn’t now🤦🏻‍♀️. I have information overload which means I haven’t retained anything from today! We went to the archeology site on Siracuse where I did sea a theatre which was all decked up because from May to July they perform plays there. Two tragedies and one comedy. And I saw a roman amphitheatre which I learned is two theatres put together! Amphi meaning double or something like that. We then went down to Ortigio and wandered round there. All in all a very nice day and now I’m sat here!

We’re having a three course meal this evening so I may post food photos later. If not I’ll be back tomorrow as have three towns to visit tomorrow😊
