As my friend so kindly put it, "you're in your second half century and you're nearer to 100 than you've ever been"! Thus begins my voyage of discovery! I am so lucky to have two jobs that I absolutely love. My second job has afforded me the luxury of being able to treat myself and it's at this job that I met a lovely lady by the name of Louise. Unknowningly to Louise she was going to be the reason that I am now embarking on this journey of a lifetime (for me anyway). Louise has family in Manhatten and quite often spends weeks, if not months visiting them. It was during such a discussion that I too realised that I also have family and friends in far away climates and why shouldn't I go and visit them. This particular journey will be emotional. Not least because on one of the legs of my journey I am visiting my aunt, who I have never met before, who is my dad's sister. Sadly my dad passed away in 2014 so hasn't lived to see this moment.
I have decided to start this blog to diarise my journey. So let me begin.......

I fly to Peru to visit Paddington and then down to Chile, across to Argentina and end up in Brazil. It's going to be scary (for the mosquitos) but absolutely amazing. The house is up for re mortgage but hey it's only money. 🤣

So I met with one of my 'family' today who told me that she couldn't see all my photos from day 12. Flipping eck.. bloody Chinese government creating chaos with my blog....... grrr. SO now day 12 should all be there and if they are not then you'll hear me scream from here😂
