So this is my first big adventure since South America in December 2019. As per a previous post I hadn’t really been looking forward to it like I had my previous trips. I think I lost my confidence for overseas travel due to covid and all the uncertainty of travel and the restrictions, plus having holiday after holiday cancelled due to covid.

I can thank covid for some things though, on the travel front, because I had some lovely trips around the UK accompanied by Mandy, which I think wouldn’t have happened otherwise.

So now I’m sat on the ferry to Dover and looking forward finally to my Transylvania experience.

It’s too soon to think about the next adventure. Let’s see if I make it out of Transylvania. I have my silver cross, mirror, garlic and stake so I should be okay. Fingers crossed.
