Morning. It’s stupid o clock here 5.30 am. How am I supposed to eat breakfast at this time, albeit continental breakfast☹.

I’m hoping for better things in the Sacred Valley in Cuzco if I’m well enough to take the photos🤣

Well I’m off to drink coca tea and suck on coca candy in a bid to fight off attitude sickness!

Won’t get to the hotel till 6.30pm so you’ll all be tucked up in bed by then so you’ll have to catch up with day 4 on day 5🤣🤣

So I’m going to do this in reverse… this is my room for two nights which I didn’t get to till after 6.30pm, which was after the photos that I’m then going to post. You keeping up!

Still no slippers but I have got a shower cap🤣 but no kettle or fridge 😱

So today we left Lima… and I still have no idea what this is all about🤔

Landed in Cuzco and pleased to say that I didn’t experience any issues with altitude sickness… today!

Drove down to the sacred valley which doesn’t have any religious connotations…

We stopped at Pisac to go to the market

I tried Chicha Morada

And an Enpanada cooked in the oven above… just like a small pasty really

We then drove to Ollantaytambo

These were used for storage of food such as potatoes and they got the food up there by the trail that hopefully you can see below

This is our group up there, however Arlene and I just went up a few tiers as we are saving ourselves for the big one tomorrow👍

Came across this strange looking individual….🤣 guess who!

These characters were interesting. These are on the rooftops of completed houses and denote the coming together of the catholic and Inca religions.

I think our hotel is very nice however it was dark when we arrived. They do have a flipping Christmas tree up already, grrrrr

I decided not to post pictures of Guinea pig in the here nor the after life as it was rather disturbing.

Sooo it’s 21.38 now and I need to be up at 5.45 am, so goodnight. It’s the big one tomorrow if I can cope with the altitude 🤣
