Just something random for you to enlighten me on please. Apparently here in the southern hemisphere the toilet flushes clock wise but in the UK it’s anti clock wise. That’s not the first time I’ve heard that when I was in Australia, however i thought the person that said it to me was ga ga! And I never checked it out! 🤔

Okay, so quite a few photos..

So first we went to a square where the government house is and where Eva Peron made her balcony speech (I’m really going to have to Google that)

This is the tower of the English given to Argentina. Not sure if that was before or after the war!

Apparently they had a famous footballer play for them🤔

And now have another🤔🤔….

We then went to the area of La Boca which is a famous brightly coloured area of Buenos Aires

This is the mausoleum of an Argentine prime minister

And this lady died just after or on her honey moon followed very soon afterwards her dog. The dog has a well worn nose where everyone touches it. For luck apparently😁. So what did we all do🤔

And the Eva Peron family mausoleum. Not that of her husband as he remarried after her death. It’s a very interesting story as she died young and her body was taken to Italy for many years. But of course you’ll all know that😂

This isn’t to do with Eva’s resting place, I just thought it eery

And this lady apparently died twice! She was taken there after they’d thought she’d died! But legend has it that she hadnt but then she did because she couldn’t get out. How do they know? Because the coffin had been moved and scratches were found🤔

We found some interesting costume design in the shopping area we went to when we got back..

Argggh I’d almost forgotten it is nearly Christmas😱😂
