Day 4 of 19 – Mostar in Bosnia

So… update from yesterday. Total incommunicado. Couldn’t even pay by card on the boat due to lack of signal/wifi

I’ve used the snail facial wash and if I could imagine what snails slime smells like then that’s what it smells like. Horrible! I’m hoping the “no pain, no gain” mentality applies and that in 3 weeks time I look 10 years younger🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Split from the boat

I’ve remembered another Liz ‘ism’.

We had left Switzerland and was in Italy approaching Como. Liz said “in a minute if you look to the left you’ll see Lake Como and the train track up the side of the hill. Oh wait, no. The trees have grown since we were last here and you can’t really see anything now”🤦🏻‍♀️.

Think she needs to get Leger to go with their chain saw and cut the trees down🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

My first sign of the holiday

Not sure I’d want my house on the Bosnian border🤷🏻‍♀️

We had just a couple of hours around Mostar so you had to pick what you most wanted to see. We all headed for the old town to see the old bridge (stari most). It was very quaint and where I bought Gina’s first snow globe from.

So you know how I love a good bridge when I go away so here’s the first of the holiday🤣

The mosque
Sue from our group

Just got to Sarajevo. Think I’d rather be back on the boat🤣
