Day 11 of 19 flying solo in Bucharest

I forgot to say that yesterday was Michaela’s 21st birthday. So I’m not the youngest on this tripπŸ™„πŸ€£

I’ll be back later with lots of photos! Or not. International emergency number is 112 remember! πŸ˜†

I made it!

PHOTO ALERT. LOTS OF THEM.

I think that’s probably Bucharest all done and dusted with! In order to prevent my blog going haywire I’ll upload in stages!

Statues first

In revolution Square
In revolution Square. The monument to Luliu Maniu
In revolution Square. Monument to New birth
In revolution Square. King Carol I

Old town buildings

Palace of the Parliament

The river

Everything else!

My lunch beef somethingπŸ™„πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈβ˜ΊοΈ
Oops!
Still there! Think the plaque explains!

The Arch of Triumph that I wanted to go to. It was a long way out however Sue and Daryl were willing to tag along and they had to admit it was well worth it! 🀣

Fountains!

To be fair we didn’t go in a single church or museum so there’s probably another trip there if we felt so inclined.

PS no cheese or vegetarian issues presently as it’s buffet dinner🀣

So tomorrow is the big day. So much to fit in. Brans Castle and Peles Castle and Sighisoara in between ☺️
