Hopefully my cat will be pleased to see me😊
Would you believe that it’s lovely and sunny this morning! Why couldn’t that have been yesterday 😕
Three hour drive and then three hours round Vienna and then drive to hotel in Vocklebruck 🤷🏻♀️for penultimate hotel before home to my own bed.
Back with more bridge photos later. PS Budapest is a must if you haven’t been already😊
Okay so maybe no bridges today. I thought Vienna was on the Danube but apparently not. I’m looking at Daryl’s travel book whilst on the coach so now I’ll give more of an update from yesterday’s photos!

It seems that when it’s not being renovated the citadel was once a door that inspired terror but now has a hotel where people can sit and enjoy the view😊

Just going back to the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest. It is the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon!

Back to Budapest

WARNING there will be lots of photos later however for now lunch and a treat for me😊

So Vienna was lovely. I’ll try to keep the photos to a minimum🤣
The former palace

Another opera House (I don’t mean in Vienna I mean every place seems to have an opera House. As they do a church and a cathedral) 🤣

The cathedral

Modern art!

Monument made of euros

Anything else!

Scenery
Erm I think this may just be water. May be a canal ot river🤷🏻♀️

We went in the swarovski shop!

And Mandy’s shop😆

So we’re 30 minutes from the hotel and the police decide to pull the coach over. They collect our passports and are quite a while sat in their car. It seems the problem isn’t with the passengers but with Liz and Nigel who appear to have been in the country for over 3 months🤦🏻♀️. So, I’m okay that’s the situation what’s the solution! Like one of those plane disaster movies we’re looking round the coach for a driver, the wing man and the trolley dolly to serve the coffee🙄🤣. We’re finally allowed to continue but think there’ll investigate further Liz and Nigel🥵
Thought my room would be traditional. No frills but still comfy
