Day 4 of 10 – Palermo via Enna and Cefalù

Another full day today. Information overload again! The only thing I remember about Enna was that it wasn’t always called Enna! Mussolini changed it from Castrogiovanni for some reason I can’t recall but I’ll Google it.

Enna up on a hill 930 metres above sea level. Not as high as Cuzco!😆

Self serve pharmacy!

Cefalù was very nice and highly recommended. It has a nice beach which for some reason I haven’t taken a photo of!

A Bellini this time!
Meat Arancene
First sighting of Etna 😊

Have you ever thought about where nuts come from! I haven’t until now. Aside from olives and lemons and oranges Sicily is famous for pistachio trees! I’m hoping to see one up close so I can post a picture. Who knew🤷🏻‍♀️

The other thing you see in abundance around Sicily (aside from ceramic pineapples) are these! I have one in my hand luggage which I won’t be sending you a photo of as it’s well wrapped up. Hope I get it back in one piece 😆

Bed for the next 2 nights. It’s never a good sign when the door opens outwards is it! 🤦🏻‍♀️. All I’ll say is, is that at least this room has a kettle🤣
