So not really any photos to post today really…

I meant to say about this one yesterday… yes we did get through the archway

Today is Phillip’s birthday and it’s customary to wear the crown on your birthday.  PS the marks on his face are from when he fell over going down to the beach

Yesterday on the way back from Garda we passed a shop that seems to sell ginormous figurines.  Presumably for the garden 🤦🏻‍♀️

We have been driving for 5 hours already and it’s 12.30 pm now and this is Mel’s sat nav 🙄 only another 6.5 hours to go🤷🏻‍♀️

So this last hotel was a lovely mixture of nicely presented rooms and hotel with wonderful food, mixed with a proper family feel  Enzo and Chiara who own the hotel were lovely and attentive. I found a pillow that was actually super comfy.  I asked where I could get one from and they said they don’t buy them but get them in the laundry contract 😪 You’d have thought they would have given me one wouldn’t you🙄

So now only 2 hours from the hotel and is 7pm 🙄

We will have travelled through 5 countries today by the time we get to the hotel, Italy, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg and now we’re in Brussels. 

We will be travelling back on the ferry from Scotland (aka Dunkirk) tomorrow😆

So you’ll notice it haven’t put my usual photos of my hotel rooms on my blog.  European hotels are not as nice as non European hotels I find.  However this airport hotel is lovely.  I’m just having a bath and a glass of wine😆
