Well my lovely followers (all 3 of you! ). I’m now in the departure lounge having successfully negotiated check in and passport control. My adventure can truly start now. Yayyyyy. For all of you that have lived through the last 10 days with me since I discovered I needed a visa and didn’t have one, thank you. I think I’ve bored everyone senseless with my incessant mutterings and negativity. Fortunately I had nothing to worry about and the lovely lady sat expectantly at the Emirates check in, well before the official check in opening time, was most comforting. I’ll be back to update shortly x
11.22 am – tum te tum te tum. Gosh never been at the airport quite so early. Still another hour till boarding and glass of wine time 😕 . Just going to finish charging my phone and then go and mooch round the shops 🙂
Bye bye rain 🙂
21.06 aka 01.06 am. Dubai time. Well I’m half way there! Waiting patiently for the next flight. Had a lovely flight to Dubai. It felt weird when it went pitch black at 4pm. We were over Turkey about that time I think. They fed me 3 courses and had ample wine and even Tia Maria with my coffee! My cunning plan to sit in a 2 seater row was a good call. Sat by a nice man who is a frequent flyer to Bangkok who goes often to stay with his Thai girlfriend. He’s Justin from Yardley and he showed me through to transfers and now I’m sat waiting to make sure I get my next plane 😆
