Okay so not to confuse you. Day 1 and 2 got muddled up with travelling and the time difference so today is my first real day however is day 3. Had breakfast at 6.30 am! For gods sake! And now in the lobby waiting to start the day. Apparently I won’t be back for a long time😥

First stop Shanghai Musuem

We then went to the silk factory and saw that it’s these little creatures that make silk 😁

So many of our group came back with silk filled duvets! Supposed to be really good. But they would say that.

We then went here for lunch. More Chinese food🤔

Followed by a trip up an 88 floor building which got us up there in 8 seconds flat. I think I made that up but it was quick.

I hope they get paid lots of money!

That’s the building they are cleaning windows on. Nick named the bottle opener tower!

Now if you keep up with my blog and as previously alluded to and as I love a good train I wouldn’t want to disappoint. Today I went on this..

That went this fast!

After all that excitement we went for a leisurely stroll round the old town and Yu Gardens

We went to the Bund by day (from 88 floors up) and by night on the Huangpu river cruise

Whilst out and about it rained a bit..

We also passed the local police station..

I discovered the straw is the new knife and fork!

AND they have stolen the Wall Street bull!

They also have a bridge (and I love a bridge nearly as much as I love a good train (a bullet train later on in the week folks)

And their version of spaghetti junction only easier..

And some of our Chinese food..

6.30 am rise

Breakfast

8.00 am check out

11.15 am flight to Wuhan

2 hours flight

5 hours drive

Lunch/ something

1.5 hours more driving

Circa 9pm arrive at docks of Yangtze river

You may not hear from me tomorrow although I hope to take more photos..
