So oooo today there are 13 hours of driving! Glad it’s not me! Although sitting in seat number 1 I feel like I’m driving🤣

So last night’s hotel Mercure Reims was retro and comfy.  We’re heading for the top of Italy today to the Hotel Conte Verde

I’ll be back later but probably not with any photos I don’t suppose 🙄

Our drivers are Mel and George. Mel did a sterling job yesterday with the driving.  We got to the hotel and George announces ‘Mel will get your cases off the bus and I’ll go and get the room keys’🙄

I hope she gets her own back today 🤣

Observations…. the tour is advertised as ‘there is a lot of walking on this tour so a level of fitness is required’. There are two people with wheeled walking frames and two with walking sticks🤔

So George did drive until stop 1 of 4. Then Mel drove from stop 1 to 4 and final destination, the hotel.  I’ve decided that my observations over the last few tours I’ve done is that the ladies like to drive whilst the men do all the trolley dollying! And maybe because the ladies are better drivers🤣
